Site Visit – Earlham Hall and The Quadram Institute

We had a lovely warm, sunny evening for our site visits to Quadram and Earlham Hall.

An informative presentation was delivered in the site offices by Dr Nick Goodwin (BBSRC Programme Manager at the park) and Damon Cutler (Construction Director for Wates). The walk round of the building itself drummed up a lot of interest and good questions from the group.

Meanwhile, back at Earlham Hall, Andrew Burbidge and Richard Loveland from UEA Estates Department gave interesting tours around Earlham Hall and the newly refurbished stable block.  Copies of the Handouts can be found below. We were later joined by those who had visited Quadram who were also treated to tours of the Hall and Stables – a stark contrast from what they had seen at Quadram.

Thank you to Aecom for sponsoring this event and to Nick Goodwin and Damon Cutler at Quadram and Andrew Burbidge and Richard Loveland at Earlham Hall.

We now break for the summer but we will be working hard to put together a great programme which will start with our AGM in October.
